Dimwits Of The Day 05-11-07

R.C. Gaitlin, 21, walked up to two patrol officers who were showing their squad car computer equipment to children in a Detriot neighborhood. When asked how the system worked, the officers aked him for a piece of identification. R.C. gave them his driver's license, they entered it into the computer, and moments later they arrested R.C. because the information on the screen showed the R.C. was wanted for a two-year old armed robbery in St. Louis, Missouri.

A man from Grand Forks North Dakota traveled to Fargo North Dakota to rob Community First Bank. He scribbled his ransom note and gave it to the teller. The teller quickly gave him the money and watched him run out of the door. Attempts to search the surrounding area were unsuccessful. Upon review of the ransom note it was revealed that the man wrote the ransom note on his personal bank deposit note. Police traveled to the man's home to arrest him!!!
