Actor Shia LaBeouf will have to miss work due to hand surgery he underwent this weekend as a result of his involvement in an accident that lead to his arrest for drunk driving.  His rep Melissa Kates says in a statement to "People" magazine that LaBeouf is, quote, "currently recovering from extensive hand surgery with plans to return to work on the set of 'Transformers 2' within one month."  The rep also confirmed the actor's involvement in the car accident early Sunday morning.  Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sergeant Scott Wolfe said LaBeouf and his passenger were in a truck when LaBeouf allegedly struck another car at about 2:30 a.m.  LaBeouf's truck rolled a few times.  All other injuries were minor.  LaBeouf's blood-alcohol level wasn't disclosed, but deputies on scene said there were signs of intoxication and he allegedly had alcohol on his breath.

Actor Kelsey Grammer is back in the hospital a little more than month after suffering a heart attack.  A rep for the star tells the "New York Daily News" that Grammer was admitted after feeling faint on Sunday.  He adds Grammer's doctor "is changing the medication and they will monitor him overnight."  Grammer has been on medication since his heart attack in early June.  The 53-year-old told "People" magazine last week the stress he suffered after his Fox sitcom "Back to You" was cancelled contributed to the heart attack, adding, "But you know, everything that doesn't kill us - which it almost did - makes us stronger."  Grammer stars in the new big screen film "Swing Vote."

Hollywood couple Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell are expecting twice the blessing.  A spokesperson for the couple tells "Us Weekly" that Romijn is pregnant with twins, who will be the first children for the pair.  Thirty-five-year-old Romijn and 34-year-old O'Connell first met in 2004 and became engaged a year later.  They wed in July 2007 in a small ceremony in Los Angeles.  The couple's twins are due sometime this winter.  Romijn will return to ABC's "Ugly Betty" for its upcoming season, while O'Connell is due to appear on the new Fox sitcom "Do Not Disturb," which will premiere this fall.  Romijn was previously wed to actor John Stamos for about six years. 

Matt Damon is getting ready to welcome another daughter.  The Oscar-winner, who is now filming "The Informant," tells "USA Today" that his wife is pregnant with another girl.  Damon, who spoke with the newspaper from his Miami home, added, quote, "I'm so outnumbered down here, it's crazy."  Damon and his wife Luciana have a two-year-old daughter named Isabella.  Luciana also has a nine-year-old daughter named Alexia from a previous relationship.  Damon says his wife is, quote, "due soon," but they haven't decided on a name for the new baby yet, saying, "We're going to get a look at her and we'll probably keep debating it!"  Damon and Luciana married in December 2005.

Miley Cyrus has issued an apology of sorts after an online video surfaced of her apparently making fun of fellow Disney stars Selena Gomez and Demi Lovato.  The "Hannah Montana" personality tells "Popstar!"' magazine, quote, "If we offended them, we're super sorry.  We were just, like, having fun, you know what I mean?"  The footage posted on YouTube shows Cyrus mocking 16-year-old Gomez' hair style and a Power Rangers T-shirt she wears, and making a comment about a gap Lovato used to have in her teeth.  Cyrus' pal Mandy Jirox is also in the video.  Cyrus adds that the footage was just about "imitating" Gomez and Lovato, and, quote, "Elvis says imitation is the greatest form of flattery."

Teen sensation Miley Cyrus is speaking out about her dream man.  "People" magazine reports she wants a guy who is tall, dark, likes Coldplay and plays the guitar.  The 15-year-old star of Disney's "Hannah Montana" says ideally, should would date a younger Chris Martin, the frontman for Coldplay.  She also added that her mother would never approve of that.  She said, quote, "she doesn't like my taste in guys.  She always says I have terrible taste."  Cyrus recently announced that she will be auctioning off a date with herself for a lucky bidder.  The eBay bidding begins at two-thousand dollars and the winner will attend the premiere of Cyrus' new Disney film "Bolt" which opens November 26th.  The money will go toward the Cyrus family charity called Pappy Cyrus Family Foundation for underprivileged children.

Alicia Keys has issued an apology after discovering that one of her upcoming concerts was sponsored by a tobacco company.  BBC News reports that the singer had been criticized by anti-smoking campaigners after it was made apparent that her show Thursday in Jakarta, Indonesia was being backed by Philip Morris.  They claimed the correlation would encourage youth to smoke.  In a statement, Keys says she apologizes for, quote, "any misleading advertising initially associated with the show," adding, "I'm an unyielding advocate for the well being and health of children around the world and do not condone or endorse smoking."  Philip Morris has now withdrawn their sponsorship of Keys concert and all advertising related to it has been taken down.

Freddie Prinze Junior may have landed a job with World Wrestling Entertainment.  PWinsider.com reports the 32-year-old actor will be a member of the organization's creative team starting at this week's WWE Raw TV show in Washington, DC.  Prinze has been active with the Connecticut-based wrestling company before, serving as a celebrity blogger and was reportedly at several WWE events over the past few months.  Prinze, who is married to actress Sarah Michelle Gellar, is best-known for his role in the "Scooby-Doo" live-action movies.  He also guest-starred on several episodes of the ABC dramedy "Boston Legal."  Freddie's father was the late actor-comedian Freddie Prinze.

The widow of late "Meet the Press" host Tim Russert says she and their son are "doing great" in the wake of her husband's sudden death last month.  During an appearance on NBC's "Today" show yesterday morning, Maureen Orth shared that the "outpouring of love" from the network and the public has helped her and 22-year-old Luke cope with the loss of Russert.  Russert died June 13th after suffering a hearth attack.  Meanwhile, "The Washington Post" reports a park and a highway in Russert's hometown of Buffalo, New York are being named for the native son.  There is also a movement underway to have the airport named in his honor.

Donald Trump has finally revealed the secret to styling his signature hairdo.  The real estate mogul tells the "Sunday Telegraph of London" that he combs his hair when it's wet, then sprays it with hair spray to set it so it, quote, "doesn't get blown away by the wind."  He said his styling tricks were no match for a recent trip to Scotland, where the winds there destroyed his coiffure.  Trump also admitted that while he gets made fun of frequently for his hairstyle, he doesn't think it's that bad, adding, "and it is mine."  He says some people want him to "comb it back," but he doesn't think NBC, the network behind his show "The Apprentice," would be happy about such a change.

HBO has had enough of "Tell Me You Love Me."  According to "Variety," the cable channel has decided to cancel the second season of the drama.  It followed three couples all dealing with intimacy issues and who all had the same therapist, played by Jane Alexander.  "Tell Me You Love Me" creator Cynthia Mort says that although the series had been renewed for a second season, they were, quote, "unable to find the direction of the show."  She also said that a "considerable amount of time" would have gone by between seasons, with the first debuting last fall and the second season not likely to premiere until next year.  "Tell Me You Love Me" only averaged about a million viewers a week for each new episode.

Troubled British singer Amy Winehouse has been rushed to a London hospital.  The 24-year-old was transported by police in a wheelchair from her London apartment last night.  Winehouse's rep confirmed the news, saying the singer, quote, "suffered a reaction to medication at home."  Amy is expected to be released from the hospital sometime today.  This is the second time in recent weeks that Winehouse has been hospitalized.  Last month, she was diagnosed with the early stages of what could lead to emphysema after she collapsed.  Her father Mitch Winehouse told the BBC, quote, "she won't die of a drug overdose, it won't be that quick.  She would die, unfortunately of emphysema.  That would be the most likely scenario if she didn't check her behavior, which she is doing."  He added that his daughter will stop performing in September to rest her voice and begin working on a new album.

Despite a recent court settlement where she lost full custody of her two children, Britney Spears is vacationing in Mexico's Cabo San Lucas.  TMZ.com reports the troubled pop star spent the weekend with Palms Hotel and Casino owner George Maloof.  A Los Angeles Country Superior Court judge ruled on Friday that Spears must pay 250-thousand dollars in fees to her ex-husband Kevin Federline's lawyer.  Along with losing full custody of her two little boys Jayden and Sean, Spears must also pay 20-thousand dollars a month in child support to K-Fed.  In exchange for the settlement, she has received increased visitation rights with the kids.

Lindsay Lohan's gal pal Samantha Ronson is dispelling rumors that she isn't a huge fan of Lohan's little sister's song.  "People" magazine reports Ronson said, quote, "I really like the song - as soon as her myspace page goes up it will be a song of the day."  Rumors flew recently that Ronson, an avid DJ, refused to play Ali Lohan's pop song "All The Way Around" at a party.  Ronson said she usually doesn't pay attention to rumors but she thought it would be unfair to Ali if she did not tell the real story.  She added, quote, "she's 14-years-old - high school is bad enough - do tabloids really need to torture people as well?" 

Flying rumors that Madonna and husband Guy Ritchie will renew their vows in a Kabbalah ceremony have been shot down.  An insider allegedly told Britain's "The Sun" newspaper that Madonna and Ritchie would renew their vows during a special party separate from Madonna's 50th  birthday dinner to show that they are still in love.  ETOnline.com reports a publicist for the pop icon calls the story, quote, "complete fiction."  The couple are planning for Madonna's birthday celebration but they will not be partaking in any vow renewal.  Madonna's health has reportedly been failing lately surrounding allegations that she may have had an affair with Yankees slugger Alex "A-Rod" Rodriquez. 

MSNBC reports Angelina Jolie wants more children. A source says, “Jolie plans on having “one more baby naturally—even if they end up having twins. Twins would be wonderful. A dozen kids would be their dream.”

Paris Hilton says she and her boyfriend, Benji Madden, have made a secret pact to stop reading blogs and tabloids. "I am so in love with my boyfriend I do not even look at other guys. When Benji reads things he does not take any notice, luckily. He trusts me and he knows how our relationship is and he knows I would never do anything to harm what we have together. He knows that when stories about me hitting on guys come out, they are not true. We have learned not to pay any attention and we have made it a rule to never read that stuff anymore."

Mr T has ripped the producers of the new A-Team movie for not casting him as B.A. Barracus. "Right now they are filming the A-team movie, and I'm mad. They insulted me saying they wanted me to do a cameo. I said to the guy, 'You're a fool. If you don't want me to play no BA, don't get me to play no cameo. I won't be in it and neither will any of the other original guys." In the film, Ice Cube plays Baraccus.

Diddy has signed Nelly to be the spokesperson for Sean John Underwear. Nelly says, “I have been a big fan of Diddy and the Sean John clothing line for years. So, when they asked me to work with them, it was a real honor. I hope my fans will enjoy this campaign as much as I did shooting it.”

mediatakeout.com reports Kanye West's ex-fiance, Alexis, may be pregnant with his child. The site says she may have gotten pregnant from a post-breakup encounter she had with him.

Chris Brown, Ne-Yo and Julianne Hough have recorded new jingles for the Wrigley Gum Company. Brown will sing about Doublemint, Ne-Yo will croon about Big Red and Hough is singing about Juicy Fruit.

Carrie Underwood has launched her own line of bracelets that are made from her used guitar strings. They're being sold through wearyourmusic.org. Proceeds go to the Humane Society. Each bracelet costs $200 and can be customized with engravings and diamonds.
