Rumors are flying that Madonna may be responsible for parts of the revealing book about her family life, written by her brother Christopher Ciccone. The "New York Post's" page six reports sources as saying the pop icon ghost wrote certain pages of "Life With My Sister, Madonna" which hit shelves last week. The source said, quote, "that's why there's nothing too devastating in Chris's book. He's mean to others, but not so much to his sister." Madonna is reportedly suffering some health problems amid rumors that she may have had an affair with the Yankees' Alex "A-Rod" Rodriguez.
Shia LaBeouf is facing a DUI charge following an incident in Los Angeles Yesterday. L.A. County Sheriff's Sergeant Scott Wolfe said the actor and his passenger were in a truck when LaBeouf allegedly struck another car at about 2:30 a.m. LaBeouf's truck rolled a few times causing minor injuries to both of them. Both were treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and LaBeouf underwent surgery on his left hand. The driver of the other vehicle was also treated and released. LaBeouf's blood alcohol level wasn't released, but deputies on scene said there were signs of intoxication and he had alcohol on his breath.
Lindsay Lohan's camp says the actress is doing just fine, despite reports to the contrary. According to "E! News," the "New York Post" and TMZ.com each claimed Lohan was struck by a motorcycle outside of New York club Friday night. The reports added that Lindsay was hospitalized for a short time after the alleged accident. However, Lohan's publicist denied the incident ever occurred. Leslie Sloane told "E!," quote, "I spoke to Lindsay and she said nothing happened." The "New York Post's" story cited Lohan's own father and a hospital employee as sources.
Sean Bean appears to be in the clear following an alleged domestic violence arrest on Thursday. England's "Daily Mail" newspaper reports the "Lord of the Rings" (Boromir) actor was taken into custody after his wife called police claiming she had been hit. Bean was held for nearly six hours before being released. His wife has reportedly since dropped the charges. The paper says Bean denied the allegations and called the incident a simple argument that got out of hand. Forty-nine-year-old Bean and 29-year-old Georgia Sutcliffe have been married for just five months. It is Bean's fourth marriage.
This year's Emmy broadcast will feature five big-name celebs handling the hosting duties. According to the "Hollywood Reporter," the show's producers have tapped a group of reality-show hosts for the gig. The list includes "American Idol's" Ryan Seacrest, "Dancing With the Stars'" Tom Bergeron, "Survivor's" Jeff Probst, "Deal or No Deal's" Howie Mandel, and "Project Runway's" Heidi Klum. Executive producer Ken Ehrlich said, quote, "This gives us the opportunity to be very contemporary and current on a show where we also will celebrate the history of the TV Academy and the history of television." Ironically, all five of this year's hosts are also competitors in the Emmy's new category, Outstanding Reality TV Host. The 60th Primetime Emmy Awards will be presented Sunday, September 21st at 7:00 p.m. on ABC from the new NOKIA Theater in Los Angeles.
Halle Berry is taking her privacy very seriously. According to "E! News," the actress has threatened legal action against photographers who took pictures of her and her baby girl last week. While media outlets said the photos showed Halle and four-month-old Nahla "out and about." However, Berry's attorney claims paparazzi snapped the pics while Halle was in her own backyard. Halle issued a statement saying, quote, "I intend to do everything I can to make sure the photographer who illegally intruded into my home is criminally prosecuted." Fame Pictures, the agency behind the photos, admitted they made a "poor decision" to release the pictures, and plans to have them pulled from circulation.
One member of the Dixie Chicks has expanded her family. Martie Maguire and her husband, Gareth Maguire, welcomed their third daughter, Harper Rosie Maguire, Friday in Austin, Texas, according to the band's Web site. Thirty-eight-year-old Martie and 33-year-old Gareth also have four-year-old twin girls. A statement on the Dixie Chicks' site says that "Martie is doing very well and Gareth and the family are over the moon" about the arrival of Harper. Maguire's sister, Emily Robison, and Natalie Maines make up the rest of the Grammy-winning country group the Dixie Chicks.
The Britney Spears-Kevin Federline child custody battle is officially over. The pop star will pay 20-thousand dollars a month in child support to her ex-husband, who was given sole custody of their two boys. Spears lost custody of her children after a stand-off with police back in January involving her refusal to turn over the boys to Federline. Spears will make a final payment to Federline's attorneys of 250-thousand dollars by July 30th as part of the agreement made between the two parties in court Friday. Last year's child support figures were five-thousand dollars less than the most recent agreement, court documents state. Spears and Federline were married in 2004 and split in 2006. Their divorce was finalized last year.
Lil Kim and Foxy Brown are the targets of separate lawsuits filed by the same book publisher. According to Bloomberg.com, Simon & Schuster claims the rappers each failed to write books they agreed to do, despite being paid hefty advances. Foxy Brown reportedly got 75-thousand up front in 2006 for an autobiography slated to be titled "Broken Silence." Lil Kim's 2004 deal earned her an alleged 40-thousand. A Simon & Schuster spokesman said, quote, "Both accepted the money and both books were never delivered." Reps for both rappers have yet to comment on the lawsuits. Sean "Diddy" Combs was sued by Random House in 2005 for a similar reason. That suit was eventually settled.
Trina is reportedly doing fine after being involved in a car crash. Belize's "7 News" reports the rapper was in the Central American nation Friday when a Ford Excursion she was being driven in was struck by a van. Trina was with NBA star Kenyon Martin, who was there for a basketball tournament. The pair had just left the airport and had a police escort. Witnesses say the motorcade was overtaking traffic on a narrow highway when the accident occurred. While Trina and Kenyon were not injured, two young children in the van were treated by paramedics. One of the kids was carried away on a stretcher. A spokesperson for the group that organized Kenyon's trip said the NBA star and Trina were both fine physically, but that they were "shaken up" emotionally.

Heath Ledger's business partners are going ahead with plans to open his New York City nighclub. Five Leaves will have a nautical theme and should be open someone before the end of the year. Heath was a major investor and oversaw many of the club's plans.

Brad and Angelina's bodyguards scrapped with the paparazzi on Friday after they caught them hiding in some bushes outside their French home. Head guard Tony Webb says, "We caught the two and tried to escort them off the property and the guy's just gone beserk, thrashing out, kicking and actually biting one of the security people, breaking his finger, drawing blood and screaming that he had Hepatitis C."
Britney Spears may star in a new movie called The Knoxville Carjacking Party. It's about two females who were killed after being carjacked in 2007. A source says the pop tart may be asked to perform a sadomasochistic sex scene. "While it’s thought Britney can handle any average sex scenes, these scenes have a lot of intensity in them. She would have to raise her performance level to endure some of these scenes."

Katy Perry says when she was younger she was banned from watching MTV. "MTV and VH1 were permanently blocked on our television.
