  • The police in Munich, Germany are looking for a man with no arms who still managed to walk out of an electronics store with a stole 24-inch TV. Two accomplices used clamps to affix the TV to his body before helping him out of the store. The staff didn’t realize what had happened until they noticed the TV missing and reviewed security tapes. I don’t think he should be too hard to find in a crowd.

  • Is it possible to get so drunk that you don’t even realize that you’ve stolen a car? This is the story of 27 year0old Charles J. Schultz in Fairbanks, Alaska. After being pulled over by a state trooper, Charles told the trooper that he was driving his Chevy Cavalier and everything was fine. That’s when the trooper informed him that we was actually behind the wheel of a Ford Escort, a stolen Ford Escort. As it turns out Charles blood-alcohol level was .166, more than twice the legal limit. The car had been stolen from the parking lot of a strip club. Charles swore he had no memory of taking the wrong vehicle. Its shocking he remembered his own name at that point.

  • A Pinellas County, Florida, detention center deputy was suspended for using the sound of his stun gun to try and wake up an inmate. According to an internal affairs report, the deputy thought the crackling sounds of his Taser would rouse an inmate on July 27th. It didn’t work. The inmate had fallen asleep on the floor of the jail’s intake section. The deputy, a three-year veteran, received a 15-day suspension. His punishment also includes a charge of misconduct for falsifying a report.
