D.O.T.D. August 11

  • You would think she would have learned her lesson from the Police Lt that tried this and was suspended…Chicago Police officer Barbara Nevers has been suspended for 18 months for demanding free coffee, donuts and pastries from Starbucks. She was banned from one store for flashing her badge and showing her gun after one employee refused service to for free. During a hearing in front of the Chicago Police Board, several Starbucks staffers said Nevers would often ask for a larger size or multiple drinks. The 55 year-old denies intimidating the employees.
  • Regina Williams has been charged with first-degree attempted murder for trying to kill her boyfriend, Willie Anderson. They were sitting outside of her Chicago apartment (in the car) when she started stabbing him because he began drinking her cold beer. Williams eventually got out of the car and told Anderson’s nephew, You better come get your uncle, I just killed him.” She then got back in the car and started drinking again before the police came and arrested her.
  • In Kansas City, three pregnant women are arrested for prostitution after advertising their services on Craig’s List. The ads actually featured the fact that they were pregnant which apparently is a huge turn-on for some guys. One of the women was three-months, one was six-months and the third was eight-months pregnant. Their ages range from 18-22 and they were arrested after they came to meet undercover police officers in a sting operation.
