Hey everybody! Its been a busy month and I want to give a quick shout to the men's and women's teams at Western for winning the Sun Belt Conference tournaments! Unfortunately, the Lady Toppers lost their first round match-up against the University of Texas-El Paso, but the men are still alive and headed to the Sweet 16 after upsetting Drake in the first round and holding off San Diego in the second round. Congrats and good luck to the guys as they look forward to facing UCLA this Thursday night! My bracket is offically busted .... two of my Final Four teams were sent packin' ... oh well, let me know how you're doing with your brackets.
Sad news out today ... Corinne Bailey Rae's husband has passed away. Details aren't available as I write, but Corinne is a huge talent and I pray for her and her family to be able to move on after this tragic event.
OK, I bought the book "Jumper" right before the movie came out and I finally started reading it this weekend. Three chapters in and so far, so good. I haven't heard a lot of nice things about the movie, so hopefully the book will be enjoyable.
