On what "not to do" on a first date: An obnoxious laugh, swearing liek a sailor, bad breath, breaking wind, getting blackout drunk, talking about your exes. It's a long list!
On being a bit heavy and feeling self-conscious: Some guys really dig love handles! Your issues seem to be more about you than your boyfriend. It sounds like you should hit the gym, not for your body or your boyfriend, but for your mind.
On knowing you've found a soul mate: I believe we all have a handful of soulmates. The most important thing to me is someone who makes me laugh. I know that's chessy, but really it's not as complicated as you think.
On going on a date, thinking it went well but then not hearing from the guy again: You can't please everyone. As long as you're having fun in the meantime, it will happen. I try to get to know the girls I'm attracted to without having an offical "date." I keep it light, become their best friend and hold off on the romance. If you're friends first, the rest of it happens more naturally. |
