The Star reports Shia LaBeouf may have to have one of his fingers amputated as a result of his car crash. A source says his left pinky may be beyond repair. “Shia called producers yesterday and told them. It’s really thrown the movie into turmoil.” Shia's rep says the Star's story is false.

Cameron Diaz is on the verge of dumping her boyfriend, Paul Sculfor. A source tells the Daily Mirror, "Paul has moved his stuff into Cam's LA home, but she insists the relationship has no strings attached. She has a 'don't ask, don't tell' rule - when they aren't in each other's company, they do as they like. Cam keeps telling Paul she's not ready to settle down and scrapped plans to fly to the UK to meet his family."

Quentin Tarantino wants Britney Spears to play a killer lesbian stripper in his remake of 1965 cult film Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill! A movie insider says, “Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant. Britney is delighted, she thinks it could turn her career and her life around. A successful film could help her get out of her current nightmare. It is perfect Tarantino material. He wanted to get Britney first. She’s playing the most important character.”

The New Orleans Saints are worried Kim Kardashian may become a distraction for Reggie Bush. A source tells E!, "Whenever you have an athlete dating a celebrity personality, it ups the glam factor surrounding that athlete. That doesn't always bode well for a player's game ability. You've got to have your head totally in the game. Ask Tony Romo's teammates what happens every time Jessica Simpson shows up."

Jenna Jameson has gotten pregnant and is expecting a baby with UFC champ Tito Ortiz. A source says, "She had a bunch of meetings and things planned for Fashion Week, including meetings for her own line, but she's postpo ned everything. She's completely thrilled, this is something she's wanted for a very long time."

Girls Gone Wild producer Matthew O'Sullivan has been charged with a first-degree criminal sexual act. The 37 year-old reportedly invited a 20 year-old woman onto the GGW tour bus before touching her in an inappropriate manner.

Leona Lewis is in talks to develop her own clothing line.

Billy Ray Cyrus is refusing to allow Miley to date 21 year-old pop star Jesse McCartney. A source says, “There’s been serious flirting between them for a while, but Billy Ray won’t let them date. It’s driving Miley and Jesse crazy! They’re on the phone to each other all the time, and they text each other. They tell each other how crazy they are for each other. Jesse also thinks the fact that he’s been known to date a lot of young girls in Hollywood has gone against him with Miley’s dad. Jesse’s told Billy Ray that he’s willing to start out by having a chaperone of his choice around. But that’s not good enough for Billy Ray.”

Usher has fired Benny Medina and rehired his mother as his manager. He made the move because of how poorly his last CD did. Benny says, "It is a completely new day and time in music now. In four years, his audience, demographic, and musical direction has changed. Records like Lil Wayne’s 'Lollipop' are the type of phenomena that 'Yeah' was in 2004."

Lil Wayne's video for "Lollipop" recently set a new Music Choice record when it was viewed over 1,000,000 times twice in two weeks.

Maroon 5's Adam Levine says he'd like to retire within 10 years. "I've spent my 20s on tour and there's no consistency in my life, which can take its toll. Eventually I want to focus on being a completely different person because I don't want to be doing this into my 40s and 50s and beyond, like the Rolling Stones."

Nick Jonas is tacking the title of diabetes ambassador onto his already impressive resume.  The youngest member of Disney sensation The Jonas Brothers has launched a new partnership with Bayer Diabetes Care to provide support and inspiration for young diabetes patients and their families.  Fourteen-year-old Jonas was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes about a year ago and has worked ever since to help other children who might feel alone or embarrassed by the disease.  The young singer and actor said, quote, "nearly every day I hear from someone like me who says that I make them feel it's okay to have diabetes and that's really cool that I can do that."  To begin Jonas' role as ambassador, Bayer donated a hefty sum of money to the Change for the Children Foundation yesterday during a New York City Press Conference. 

Fans of Team USA can support their favorite athletes while listening to tunes from their favorite pop stars.  AT&T has announced the lineup for their Team USA Soundtrack that includes 3 Doors Down, the Clique Girlz, Chris Brown, Kale Voegele and Colbie Caillat.  Sheryl Crow's contribution is a song called "So Glad We Made It." Other artists contributing to the Team USA Soundtrack include rapper Nelly, the Goo Goo Dolls, country star Taylor Swift, and Puerto Rican singer Luis Fonsi.  The songs will be available for download starting tomorrow, the same day the Summer Olympics opening ceremonies take place in Beijing.  Net proceeds will benefit the athletes competing on behalf of the U.S.  For more information, visit www.att.net/TeamUSA. 

David Archuleta is taking a page out of the Miley Cyrus success book.  E! Online reports the "American Idol" runner up will be working with Rock Mafia Records to produce songs for his debut album.  The label's team of Antonia Armato and Tim James are responsible for co-writing and co-producing eight tracks on Cyrus' latest album, "Breakout," which hit number one on the Billboard 200.  They have also worked with such stars as Mariah Carey, Vanessa Hudgens, and Aly & AJ.  A source says Archuleta and his father-manager Jeff decided after meeting with Rock Mafia that working with them is the right way to go to get a, quote, "Miley touch to the album."  Archuleta's disc is expected to drop sometime in November.  While the date hasn't been picked yet, he knows he'll have stiff competition since "American Idol" winner David Cook plans to release his album on the same day. 

It looks like Jennifer Lopez won't have to testify against her old boyfriend after all.  TMZ.com reports the singer-actress was scheduled to be deposed yesterday in a lawsuit filed against Sean "Diddy" Combs.  Natania Reuben claims Combs and his former protegé, Jamal "Shyne" Barrow, were involved in a 1999 New York nightclub shooting that left her with bullet injuries to her face. Reuben's attorney confirmed that Lopez's deposition was called off.  Sources say Lopez has, quote, "nothing to contribute" in the matter.  Since no new deposition has been scheduled, Lopez may be off the hook for good. 

It's an Anderson Cooper-Dina Lohan face-off.  E! Online reports the CNN anchor showed no mercy when he criticized Lohan's reality show "Living Lohan" during his recent guest-host spot on "Live With Regis And Kelly."  During his rant he called the show "a trainwreck," adding that when he tuned in to watch the show he felt he was wasting his life observing these, quote, "horrific people."  He mocked Dina and her daughter Ali for mooching off the fame of daughter Lindsay, who has established a successful acting career.  He also accused 14-year-old Ali of looking like a 60-year-old woman.  Dina fired back at Cooper's comments, telling "OK!" magazine, quote, "People are just cruel!  This is bad karma for him."  Not allowing a Lohan to have the last word, Cooper retaliated on his own CNN show saying Dina probably didn't see his comments live because, quote, "she was out clubbing."  But he added that he feels bad for Ali, and only takes issue with her mother.

It's a boy for former "American Idol" runner-up Bo Bice and his wife.  The singer's rep tells UsMagazine.com that Bice and Caroline Fisher welcomed son Caleb on Tuesday.  The couple are also parents to their nearly three-year-old son Aidan.  Bice says they chose both their sons' names because they were, quote, "good Irish and good biblical names."  Thirty-two-year-old Bice and Fisher married in July 2005.  Bice was the runner-up to Carrie Underwood on the fourth season of Fox's "Idol."  He has since started his own record label and opened a recording studio.  He released the album "See the Light" in October 2007.

Morgan Freeman is making headlines again.  First, he was seriously injured in a car accident Sunday.  Now comes word that the actor and his wife Myrna Colley-Lee have split.  Freeman's business partner, attorney Bill Luckett, tells "Access Hollywood" that Freeman and Colley-Lee, who have been married for 24 years, are involved in a divorce action.  Luckett adds that for legal and practical purposes, the couple has been separated since last December.  Freeman was reportedly driving in Mississippi Sunday night when his vehicle went off the edge of the road and flipped several times before coming to a stop.  Emergency crews needed the jaws of life to remove Freeman and his female passenger, friend Demaris Meyer, from the car.  Both were airlifted to the hospital in Memphis.  His rep said Tuesday that Freeman was "doing well" following surgery to repair damage to his left arm and hand and should be released "in a few days."

Laurence Fishburne may once again be targeting Las Vegas' criminal element.  The "Hollywood Reporter" says the actor, who played a casino security chief in the recent film "21," has been in serious talks to star in the CBS crime drama "CSI."  Sources say if Fishburne gets the job, his character would be the replacement for William Petersen's Gil Grissom character.  Petersen recently announced he's leaving the show.  His character will appear on several episodes of the upcoming season before retiring to guest appearances as needed.  The ninth season of "CSI" is slated to kick off October 9th on CBS.  Among the other names previously mentioned as possible replacements for Petersen are John Malkovich and Kurt Russell.

The person who apparently really can dance will be crowned on "So You Think You Can Dance's" season finale tonight.  The competition is down to four contestants, Stephen "Twitch" Boss, Katee Shean, Courtney Galiano and Joshua Allen.  Two of the contestants reportedly collapsed during rehearsals last weekend and had to be rushed to the hospital by ambulance, though the show would not reveal which of them fell ill.  Show judge Mary Murphy told "People" that they were "completely dehydrated."  A source later said that the two were doing okay and were expected to return to rehearsals earlier this week.  Part two of the fourth season "So You Think You Can Dance" finale airs tonight beginning at 7, Eastern, on Fox.  Part one aired last night.  Last season's winner Sabra Johnson won a cash prize of 250-thousand-dollars.

Hallmark is rolling out a line of celebrity inspired greeting cards.  TMZ.com reports that the cards from the company's subdivision Shoebox poke fun at various stars.  One example featuring a picture of actress Lindsay Lohan reads, quote, "Have some good clean fun on your birthday.  And when you figure out how, let me know!"  It is likely in reference to Lohan's stints in rehab and DUI arrests.  Another card with the image of Brad Pitt reads, quote, "Party while you can 'cause you never know when somebody's going to bring home another kid!"  Pitt and his partner, actress Angelina Jolie, recently welcomed twins, adding to their brood which already included three adopted children and a biological daughter.  Hallmark has already been sued by hotel heiress Paris Hilton over a card depicting her as a waitress.  That case is now in appeals court.  The company says that the celeb-inspired cards simply, quote, "take a satirical look at news and gossip surrounding these public figures."
