Paris Hilton stars in her own tongue-in-cheek response to last week's attack ad launched by John McCain's campaign against Democratic rival Barack Obama. The Internet ad produced by www.funnyordie.com is a spoof on the TV spot questioning Obama's readiness to lead.  In the parody, the hotel heiress is shown on a lounge chair in a bathing suit and high-heels introducing herself as a "celebrity too."  She says she's not from the "olden days" nor is she promising change "like that other guy," adding, quote, "I'm just hot."  The original television ad from the McCain camp featured brief footage of Hilton and Britney Spears with a voiceover that called Obama "the biggest celebrity in the world," then questioned his ability to lead.

Beyoncé's younger sister is jumping on the Armani bandwagon.  According to the British version of "Vogue" magazine, Solange Knowles has been named the "ambassador" for Armani Jeans.  Giorgio Armani told the publication that he considers jeans to be indicative of a "young, independent, casual lifestyle."  He added, quote, "Solange epitomizes this style perfectly and brings to it that swing so evident in her new single, 'I Decided.'"  Last year, Armani tapped Beyoncé to be the new face for the company's Diamonds fragrance.  Solange's sophomore CD, "SoL-AngeL and the Hadley Street Dreams," is due out August 26th.

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is apparently spending time these days writing, but he's not necessarily working on songs.  "Crain's New York Business" says the singer has inked a deal with the HarperCollins imprint Ecco to publish his memoirs.  Tyler's the latest classic rocker to put his life story in print.  The Eagles' Don Felder recently saw his autobiography hit store shelves, following two years of legal delays.  Eric Clapton and Rolling Stones guitarist Ron Wood have also published their memoirs, while an autobiography is said to be on the way from Rod Stewart.  Expected next fall is the highly anticipated book from Rolling Stone Keith Richards.  Last summer the iconic rocker reportedly sparked a bidding war for his memoirs.  He eventually struck a publishing deal with Little, Brown that's reportedly worth between seven-and-eight-million-dollars.  Details on Tyler's contract haven't been revealed.

Some hints about Dr. Dre's long-awaited "Detox" release have come from an unlikely source.  According to Billboard.com, Drinks America revealed that they plan to put out several alcoholic drinks under the rapper's name in the next two months.  The beverage company also stated in an earnings statement that the booze products will hit the market in conjunction with "Detox."  Just weeks ago, Dre said the CD would be released in either "November or December."  But Drinks Americas' timeline pushes it up to around October.  The alcohol products include Aftermath Cognac and flavored and unflavored sparkling vodkas.  Dre's "Detox" has been in the works for several years.  It's his first album since 1999's "2001."

After battling it out for the title of "American Idol," the two Davids will now go head to head in an "album-off."  E!Online reports the reigning Idol David Cook plans to release his solo album sometime in November, but whichever day it is, he plans to drop it on the same day as his runner up David Archuleta.  Even though the two have been travelling with the "American Idols Live! Tour," Cook says he has been recording and co-writing tracks in between stops.  He reportedly has seven songs already completed and hopes to make a track list of 20 for the untitled CD.  He has chosen to team up with Grammy-winning producer Rob Cavallo for the album.  Cavallo is known for his work with such big names as Green Day, Kid Rock, Eric Clapton and the Goo Goo Dolls.

Still flying high on the success of their first "Camp Rock" movie, The Jonas Brothers are happy to say there is a sequel in the making.  EW.com reports the Disney TV movie and its soundtrack came in a close second behind "High School Musical" raking in nearly nine-million viewers and selling 707-thousand copies of the album within the first six weeks.  Before the making of "Camp Rock 2" was confirmed by a Disney rep, Joe Jonas said at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, quote, "the success from the first one - we did not expect that at all, and the possibility of a second movie would be great."  The boys say, plot-wise, the sequel could possibly be a rival camp movie.  They also suggested premiering the movie in Central Park where they would serve pizza from their favorite New York restaurant.

Disney Channel star Selena Gomez and one-third of The Jonas Brothers may have inadvertently confirmed their rumored romance.  Gomez recently told "Twist" magazine that she was "slow dancing" with her crush and they had their first kiss.  She says she then told him he cheated because, quote, "I don't kiss on the first date," to which he replied, "I never really play by the rules."  Meanwhile, Nick Jonas recently told "Girls Life" magazine that, quote, "On one date, the girl said to me, 'I don't kiss on the first date.'  So I said, 'I don't follow the rules.'"  The Jonas Brothers' new album "A Little Bit Longer" is due in stores August 12th.  The trio took home six awards at the 2008 Teen Choice Awards, which aired Monday on Fox.

Pete Wentz is becoming quite the family man as he puts his Hollywood Hills bachelor pad up for sale.  E!Online reports the Fall Out Boy frontman is selling his three bedroom, three bathroom house for one-point-eight-million dollars.  Wentz bought the house back in 2006 but has now settled into his wife, Ashlee Simpson's pad in Beverly Hills.  There, the recently-wed couple will have four bedrooms and nearly six-thousand acres to raise their baby that's on the way.  Wentz's house has a 180-degree view of the Valley, including a glimpse of the Hollywood sign.  It also has a pool, spa and an outdoor barbecue entertaining area.

Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears are getting a little support from Dolly Parton.  E!Online reports the country singer asked for a break on behalf of the two girls during her Monday night concert at L.A.'s Greek Theater.  Parton said, quote, "ain't it awful?  If those little girls slept with as many men as they say in the tabloids, why their little butts would have more fingerprints than the FBI!"  Although Spears and Lohan weren't in the audience to hear Parton backing them, celebrities such as T.R. Knight, Katherine Heigl and Rose McGowan were in attendance.  Parton also mentioned her role as "Aunt Dolly" for Miley Cyrus' character in the Disney hit show "Hannah Montana."  She said, quote, "a lot of little kids come up to me and say, 'Aunt Dolly!' and I say, 'would you little girls like an autograph?' And they say, 'Oh yes! When you see Miley, please get us one.'"

Rumor has it that singer Toni Braxton and former 'NSync member Lance Bass will be performing with the next cast of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars."  According to "In Touch," the next round of contestants will also include singer reality star Kim Kardashian, NFL great Dan Marino, "Brady Bunch" alum Florence Henderson and rodeo cowboy Ty Murray.  When asked to comment, a rep for ABC said that they were, quote, "not at liberty to confirm any casting rumors or details."  The official cast list will be revealed on "Good Morning America" August 25th.  The seventh season of "Dancing with the Stars" will premiere on ABC Monday, September 22nd.  The sixth season was won by Olympic ice skater Kristi Yamaguchi and her professional dance partner Mark Ballas.

Rock spawn Lisa Marie Presley is pregnant with twins.  Her mother, Priscilla, has confirmed the news to "Entertainment Tonight," telling them that Lisa Marie, quote, "wanted it really to be kept a secret for a long time."  Priscilla has two younger brothers that are twins, while Lisa Marie's father, late rock and roll icon Elvis Presley, was a twin.  Earlier this year, Lisa Marie earned an apology from a British newspaper she claimed forced her to reveal her pregnancy.  The "Daily Mail" had published a photo of her and the caption "growing just like her dad."  The children Lisa Marie is expecting will be the first for her and her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood.  Forty-year-old Presley already has two teenage children, daughter Riley and son Benjamin, with her ex Danny Keough.

From driving a cab, to fathering one of Britain's biggest singing sensations, Mitch Winehouse will now try his luck at radio deejaying.  E!Online reports Mitch, the dad of Amy Winehouse, will guest host for one-afternoon on a BBC Radio London call-in show.  He will take the chair on September 1st to fill in for the regular DJ who will be on vacation.  The station's assistant editor Justin Kings told the BBC that Mitch is a regular contributor to the show.  He said, quote, "he always has something worthwhile to say and a good sense of humor.  Although Mitch's life is extraordinary because of Amy, he's still a London dad, and I think our listeners can relate to him in that way.

Seth Rogan is working out to get in shape for his role as The Green Hornet. "I lost a little weight... I have a personal trainer now... it's really hard. I exercised to the point where he made me throw up. I thought he'd be kind of supportive about it - rub my back, or hold my hair out of my face. There was none of that at all. He seemed totally disappointed in me."
